Gee, did I do something bad? I wanted to check on that "Confederate Flag" thread and use the history menu in my browser. Instead of the thread, I got the vbulletin message:

2dogmom, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I think that thread was removed because it was too, ahhh, opinionated?
IMO forum does not allow that. I wanted to check in too, but just as well, no sense in butting heads here.

Don't worry!
The thread was getting too heated and got pulled from the IMO forum. That message only means it is now in an area to which only Mods and Admins have access.

Oh ok. Thanks. I guess what I had seen by the time I went to bed last night was't that bad. Well I am sorry to hear that! From what I have seen this is a forum where the posters are pretty decent to each other. Believe me, I have seen OTHER forums!

You're quite right. It isn't actually that often that a thread needs to be pulled. TCS folks are pretty good -- make that VERY good -- about not going after each other. "Opinionated" is OK
, but occasionally the subject is one that just gets people too worked up and the thing gets out of hand.

Well, I'm happy to know I wasn't the only one wondering where that topic had gone. I was beginning to think I'd imagined the whole thing.
