My Dad had one and my Brother took me for a ride.I think that's why I have a fear of them now.He went around a curve and leaned too far and scared the holy you know what outta me.
In West Virginia, we have the helmet law.So, he would have to wear one.He thinks anyone who doesn't is asking for trouble.

Oh definitely! Colin ALWAYS wears a helment....thankfully I don't have to remind him of that....he's responsible and just automatically does that
. There isn't a law around here ....but thankfully he does it anyways. I wouldn't want him riding one without it.

He has been riding for 30 years, and I have been on the back for longer than that. We both love them. We sold the old Harley and bought a Goldwing a few months ago. It is soooo comfortable, and being huge, easy to see. We rode out to the beach Monday night and it was so nice. We sat on the pier, ate boiled peanuts and played with one of the local friendly ferals. The fisherman and locals keep them well fed, and they are very friendly. The locals protect them, and God help you if you are caught mistreating one. It is a nice situation for them. I hope we get another nice evening so we can do that at least one more time before it gets too cold.
I finally got "my" room cleaned up and organized. I can work on my jewelry and stuff in there instead of at the dining room table. I might put my massage table in there. Kitties are a little too happy with it in the living room. They like to lay on it and watch tv.

That's what i've kinda figured....so now i'm not saying anything and "acting" like i'm indifferent...this has gotta work
....he'll do it when/if he's ready i would never wanna "make" him....then it just wouldn't be right and it wouldn't be for the right intentions you know. I love him enough to wait a bit
. (Inside though i'm dying lol.....I already have baby names picked out and everything- that's one thing we both agree on is children- we both can't wait to have kids!!!
). Also, he's been acting more weird lately lol....and just this week he decided to sell his house in Virginia Beach (he owns two houses, the one we're in now, and one in Virginia Beach that he lived in when he was in the Navy before he transfered here.) Well, the home in VA. Beach he is planning on selling soon- he got an awesome offer for it, way more than he expected....so he wants to see that one and eithor buy this one he's in now in TN out right and never have to make another payment on it, and put the left over $ in savings (we're both big on saving
)...or, sell both houses and buy a bigger one....I know he wants a bigger one because he's planning on having a family...and now is the time to make the deicision house wise while he has the opportunity to and the market is right- he was so excited before he left this week that he told me when he gets back in town this week, we're going house shopping. I will definitely take pictures if he sees one he likes. It will take a while before he'd be able to move though because he'd have to sell 2 houses (yikes!) He has an awesome little lady in VA Beach that manages his property there so she is going to sell that one for him which is good....not sure about the house here though....i'd be kinda sad if he sold it in a way, I LOVE it....it's huge comapred to my duplex- i've always lived in a tiny place and never in a house before- so for me, his home is like a little mansion (3 bedroom 2 bath). Although the idea of him getting a new home is exciting too....Yea! So i'm excitied for him....I won't be moving in with him - not until I have a wedding ring on my hand (it's a religious thing for me
but I do stay with him often at his house when I have foster kittens to keep them seperate from my bunch...and especially now since I have ringworm -blahhh- so once i'm better i'm going back to my place, but I do visit Colin pretty often and kinda stay with him off and on in the mean time....so I will be at his house a lot if he does sell this one and gets a bigger one- which means one thing - I GET TO DECORATE!!! YEA!!!!
/ Humm...so with all this talk of getting a bigger house lately, that has to mean something right?

Well you know us guys are sometimes kinda slow to pick up the marry me thing.
Soooo sometimes you need to hit us over the head with something,
hmm not the computer, but books, frying pans, a clean litter box is good(not used, that would just be nasty)

I love it when men are honest and say they need to be reminded!
