How often do you scoop?

I work full time and scoop about once daily in the morning. Just curious. I've seen some scoop 2-3 times a day though. That just seems like a ton to me!

I scoop once a day, usually in the afternoon/evening when I get home from work or school. (3 kitties/2 boxes)

I have 2 kitties and 1 box. The box is in my bathroom so when I go in there I scoop it each time.

4 cats in the house....5 litter boxes in the house. I scoop twice a day, every day.

All trays are checked 3 times a day - breakfast, tea and bedtime. And then if I notice them doing anything in between. Never used to be this keen!!

Morning, evening (after work) and just before bedtime. The average: two times a day. One cat, medium 'output'.

This ensures that there is no smell. Even with the outstanding Nature's Miracle litter, there is SOME smell with poos...so I just get them out of there and make sure she has about 2 inches of litter in the box.

On weekdays, I scoop in the morning, and a second time when I get home from work. On weekends, I always scoop first thing in the morning. I either forget to scoop in the evening, or check 3 or 4 times, so it probably averages out to twice a day.

3 times a day MIN...ok so I also have 21 cats but I have to have a clean house so probably a little obsessive;P RJ

Usually once a day, sometimes twice. I have two cats and two litter boxes.

Once a day - every morning when I get up, we have 2 boxes.

I have 6 boxes so ALOT mainly because I'm home most of the time, but there's 8 kitties also

I have 5 cats/kits and 1 small liter box with the lid,1 large litter box with the lid and 1 tote (18 gal.) that I made into a litter box.I scoop out once a day..........preferably at night.

Well it depends. Usually once a day. But if Bagheera goes pooh and Kitten doesnt notice and cover it up for him then I scoop whichever litterbox he pooped in twice that day. But usually Kitten covers it up for him.

1 litter box with lid
1 tiger box very large
1 normal litter box
there is all ways some one here to keep trays clean
its a lot of work but their worth it you would"nt leave a baby in a dirty nappy all day and you would"nt leave the your toilet unflushed all day so its right to keep theirs clean too

I have two kitties, two boxes, and I scoop two to three times a day. My apartment is 750 square feet so I'm sort of forced to scoop as often as they go. Also my husband is slightly OCD and has a strong sense of smell so that is part of why I do it often as well. I'm hoping if I get a larger apartment or house then I'll be able to back off to twice a day, but with my husband I'll never know.

I scoop twice a day...It keeps everything fresh and clean!!


I have one kit!

Ours usually pee in 1 of them and poo in the other two.

I have two cats and 3 boxes. I scoop in the morning, usually shortly after I get up before getting ready for work. Then I scoop again in the evening, probably around 8:00 or 9:00, or at least before going to bed. If I'm around and notice anything extra stinky, I'll scoop that out right away.

I have three cats and three boxes. One box is in my room, so that one gets scooped 2 or 3 times a day to avoid any smell. The other two boxes get scooped every day or two.
