John and I (or is it Me and John?) were in a car wreck this morning. I just got back home about an hour and a half ago. Johns still in the hospital. He broke his pelvis, dislocated his shoulder and is just all around bruised up.
I feel horrible for him. He looks just awful. I mainly had to go in because they wanted to make sure the baby was ok. She's fine. But I'm pretty bruised up. I have a bruise along my pelvis where my seatbelt was. It's really nasty looking. John's car is destroyed.
We were just driving along minding our own business when this stupid idiot turned right in front of us! I dont know what they were thinking. It hit the front drivers side. The front end is totally smashed in. Almost to the passenger side. John was jammed really good underneath the stearing wheel. I hit my head a little too. But not to bad. I was freaking out. Couldnt stop crying. Everyone thought I was hurt really bad or something. But I was just flipping out because John was hurt. He actually stayed fairly calm. The other car was damaged to bad. The other driver wasnt hurt. I feel so guilty because we never would have been out if I hadnt been a brat and begged to go to Walmart.

Oh no! It's not your fault so please try not to feel so guilty.
I'm glad you and the baby are ok. I will say a prayer for John. I hope he gets to feeling better soon.

I dont even know! I was freaking out pretty bad so I didnt even really make since I dont think to the police. I know John didnt get a ticket. The police are supposed to call tomorow and talk to us. So I will ask them then. I was put in an ambulance right after pretty much. They got there really fast! It apparently took them 20 minutes to get John out of the car. I got taken to the hospital really fast.

Yep! I got to see her again! She was bouncing around like a little maniac. And was totally fine. She's got alot of stuff to protect her from the outside world. I bleed every so often as it is. So I dont know if I were to bleed if that would be a problem. Thats why I didnt know I was pregnant for so long. I kept bleeding every once in a while and thought it was just freaky periods. So far I havnt bled or anything. No cramping or anything.

aww sweetie- don't blame yourself! you are not a brat, and every redblooded person I know would beg to go to walmart too! you didn't cause the wreck and you are not responsible for it- the peson who hit you and john are. I'm just glad everyone is ok and that at the end of the day, nothing too serious happened- you will all be fine
I hope john starts to feel better soon. Any news when he will be released from the hospital? How are you feeling tonight? I'm glad your baby is ok- ya'll must have had angels watching over all of you
. I'm sorry about John's car....make sure you find out what's in the police report tomorrow so ya'll can file a claim on your insurance...you want to do it asap to get the most money and the most coverage for the accident. My car was totaled two years ago in a really bad accident- I was rearended by an F150 who was doing 50 in a 25...she wasn't paying attention..I wound up in PT for several months for my neck and back...my car was totaled, and I had hospital bills from x-rays and PT after the wreck - be sure to get all of the contact info you need....so that you can get a settlement for your insurance claim- good luck with that! I know right now you're probably not thinking about that after such a traumatic day, but definitely do that sooner than later sweetie so you both can be compensated for lost work, injuries, hospital visits, and the toaled car. I hope everything turns out ok! If you start cramping tonight or spotting -i'd go back to the hospital just to be safe. I hope you are able to settle down and calm your nerves a bit soon.

A broken pelvis is bad - poor John!!! Take really good care of him and yourself of course!

Sounds as though you both could have been a lot worse off... Lucky he was driving and not you...

Sending healing vibes to both of you.

I hope everyone is feeling better. I had an accident when I was 14 wks pregnant, so I know how scared you are. I got checked out and the baby was fine, and now she is a perfect 3 year old. I'm so sorry about John. He likely has a long road ahead of him...

Well the doctor told John he has to stay at the hospital for least a week. No moving around at all. He isnt even allowed to go to the bathroom. He also isnt allowed to change positions at all unless the doctor is there and the nurses are doing it for him.
Its really driving him crazy. I got a call from the police. The other people got a ticket. The other people blamed it on John! I couldnt even believe that. He drives like a old man!

Awww,i'm soo sorry. And the nerve of those people! I'm glad they got a ticket- they could have seriously harmed you 3 or even killed you! Irresponsible drivers irk me.
I'm glad you and the baby are ok though. Any news on John today? That stinks that he can't move....but hopefully this week will go by quickly and he will be better soon
. As far as the insurance goes- have you started the paperwork for that yet to file a claim? I would definitely make sure it includes all medical bills, car towing, the totaled, car, and lost work. Good luck sweetie!
