Radio question of the day: 10/13/06

I work up a about 3:30 am to go to bathroom and couldn't fall asleep so I got up at 4:08 am and have been up ever since (not much on TV at that time of the morning!!). Then we switched banks for our home equity line of credit and the lady who did the ppwk forgot to have us sign one more doc so I had to meet her to get that done.

*sprinkling my own "Friday the 13th good luck fairy dust" around for people having bad days*

Thankyou. ....I appreciate that. I'm still irritated with him...but thankfully he's going out of town tomorrow night to see his mom and aunt ....haha, so 4 days with them should do the trick I'm soo happy!!! lol....they'll have no mercy on him. ...(there's nothing like two little Vietnamese ladies to whip him back into shape lol...) he's been sweet so far today since all of that crap....he's at work now. I called my sister and told her what happened and she said I did the right thing...and she would have propbably done worse had it been her...so I at least feel good that I stood up for myself. I don't tolerate things like that and i'm not about to start. I love Colin for who he is and who he was when I meet him....the Colin I know and love doesn't stay out till 4 in the morning drinking with his buddies..I told him that last night also and I really think he got the point after that. He seems like he's genuinely sorry, so that's good. / That's good that Jerrry knows not to stay out too late as well...

My grandson called when I was on the way to work and said Mammy where are you always has called me Mammy, he's 18 and 6 ft tall He said I am at work and I don't have any money and I'm hungrey can you bring me something ( yeah sure) So I drove to his work to give him the biggest part pf the money I will make working today for 3 hours But I am Mammy what else could I do Got to Love that boy and I do lots, even though it put me behind that's ok to And really not a bad thing for today because I got to see him They just get big to fast

the worst thing? I couldn't find my volunteer shirt to wear to the pet adoption fair tomorrow. I am going to go look for it again and if I can't find it..I will look when I get up in the morning before I head to the shelter.

I am having a bit of gastrointestinal upset (went to an untried restaurant last night) but am otherwise doing OK today. The 70-mile drive, to meet my new granddaughter was uneventful and gas is down to $2.16.

Cindy, when Jerry and I were out there a couple of weeks ago, we drove from Phoenix to Sedona. In Phoenix, gas was comparable to that, I think it was like $2.29. Well, half way there we stopped at this gas station, and it was $2.89!!! You had no choice but to pay, and out in the middle of the desert, they had you. No one else around, so it was pay thier prices or walk!!! What a monopoly they had!

The worse thing that happened to me yesterday was burning myself while i was doing the ironing. Not too bad really.

Hmm, nothing bad really happened yesterday - oh, I guess it was when I managed to touch some bubble wrap on the cat fountain (not realising) and pouring water all over the kitchen floor! Couldn't help but laugh though as the cats were looking at me like I was a loon!
