We got a new digital camera to take pictures of our sons when they start traveling for baseball. In order to get used to it by the time they start, Your Magesty, Clover, is our subject. The last shot is of my roses. Let me know what you think.

Congrats on your new New Canon Rebel XTi DSLR. It is a great camera, you will love it. Lots of lens to choose from, $$$$

I guess the shoe did not fit. " I told you, the shoe is TOO big for me. Now get me another pair."

We got the camera because our 2 sons are very involved in sports. We had a cheaper camera and tried to take pictures from a distance and just weren't happy. My husband took this shot of my son playing football while he was standing on the sidelines. My son is the one in the white. I hope we can master it before too long. There are so many things to learn about what it can do.

Oh yea, there is a lot to learn with your new XTi. I assume you already have a EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM and a kit lens. These are great to practice on. If you are really want some high quality lens and zoom, look into some L telephoto lenses. They are great and they cost $$$$$$. Great capture by the way. Was it cloudy that day? I see that ISO is set at the 1600?

The picture was taken on a cloudy/rainy day. I think we read that you needed a higher ISO for sports shots and I think he even had it set to cloudy. We are really amateurs at this. I wish they had some type of "Handbook for Dummies with Advanced Digital Cameras."
