I've just found out that the town next to where I live (10 minutes drive) is doing free spaying and neutering for strays and ferals during the month of April! This is so good! I was going to take Romeo, our porch cat to be fixed at the cat society (low-cost), but now I'll take him here. It's free and less of a drive.

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

This is the worst litter I have ever tried in my life. The cats don't care, but I do - it stinks to high heaven and doesn't clump at all like it claims.

I guess for the rest of us, the cost of the plane ticket to Israel kind of cancels out the free neutering, but I am happy for you!

Brings in a mobile clinic about 4 times a year. They spay and neuter for a donation only, and they clip the ear of the ferals they fix so when they are released, it is easier to determine if they have been fixed. Last year they did 30 cats for me and my friend at a dollar apiece. All the cats were from feral colonies in town and not my home. It is a great service, I wish they did the same thing with vet visits but so far, no vet is willing to donate his time and money to that project.
