I want to start emailing a newsletter but I can't find an email program that does not show the recipients' email addresses to each other. Is there a free or inexpensive program that doesn't show the email addresses of everyone in my address book?

I didn't even know there was such a thing...I wondered how people did that.

Just out of curiousity, why would you do that? Just so people don't start emailing others on the list??

Outlook Express and Thunderbird do this.

When you send out a big list you want to hide the addresses of everyone because a lot of times people will start sending chain mail and stuff like that.

Can you set up a distribution list-I used to have a big email address base where I used to work and we used distribution groups in Outlook.

Somebody gave me a neat trick for this.

You send the message to yourself and BCC everyone on your mailing list. This way the message shows as being sent to you from you no other addresses are visible.

Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve used it myself but I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t have that many people in my address book.
