I line some but not others and it really doesn't have anything to do with whats going in them

The knive drawer has a non slip liner that stops the knives that can not be kept in a black because 'someone' likes to pull them out still.
My undies & sock drawer has scented liners.
the 'random stuff' drawer has a liner but the others don't

I did in my old house. But not in this one. It was only meant to be a temperary situation. But you know how that goes. Now I do want to take everything out so its gonna stay unlined.

Well, not really. I do have a soft sponge-like material that I put at the bottom of my cupboard for my crystal glasses, but other than that, no.

Liners get ripped and ragged over time, not to mention looking dated after awhile. I prefer to just vacuum my cupboards and drawers and wipe them out as needed.

I do. I find it makes the drawers easier to wipe out. Especially in the kitchen where errant drop of food land in the drawers.

We did! But it was because our house was a foreclosed home and all of the cupboards & cabinets are very outdated and dirty with spider webs and stains- so after I went through and cleaned them, they all got a lining so I could get over my complex of putting anything in there!

We're *hopefully* redoing our kitchen this winter or next so I won't need to line any of the new cupboards & drawers
and some day when we redo the bathroom we won't need any in there either!

I don't have time. There are so many house things still I have to do. Working full-time and being married and keeping up a house and trying to find time for yourself to relax is hard!

We rent, and the previous tenants a while back put liners in the cupboards. The liners are looking pretty grungy and outdated, but I'm ambivalent about changing them. It's not like we're living in that apartment forever, right?

I think if we end up in a home with nice new cupboards, I won't put liners in; if we end up buying an older home, with older-looking cupboards, I'll try to find something nice to line them with. My boyfriend won't see the point, but I will.

I'm a renter, and there are some apartments where I have definitely used liners, and some where I haven't. It depends on how grody the cupboard and drawers are.
