abi developed a UTI and I realized it monday night when she crouched in the middle of my bed as if to pee. she has never peed in an inappropriate place so I knew something was up. Only one drop came out. so I sprayed it with an enzyme. But it was clear that her litter box was associated with pain so I put a whole bunch of thick bath mats in the shower stall and all over the foot of the bed to catch he pathetic little drops of pee and the next morning got her to the doc early for treatment. The vet gave her an antinflammatory painkiller for the discomfort and put her on antibiotics. today (wednesday) she is peeing a little more and using the box again. Glad I caught it in time.

giving her liquid amoxicillan twice a day is pretty hysterical. especially when she shakes her head in that eeeeuw way after the syrange shoots it into her mouth.

You sure were on the ball. Great that you caught that so quickly. Glad to hear she has seen the doc and got some medication.

You're a good meowmy for sure.
