Scratch is pooping standing up!

Let me walk you through this one. He will dig down to the plastic in the litter pan, he will then place his front paws on the side of the box, and his back will straddle the hole he dug. Is this normal?

That is exactly how Ginger does it! I just figured that was normal!

I just couldn't believe it the first time I saw it! I thought he didn't like the smell of the kitty litter that I was using so we switched. I was in the bathroom today and caught him doing it again. It's so funny. He looks like he's making his own little toilet.

Scratch isn't a "private" kitty. When ever I am in the bathroom going so is he. I don't really have a choice.

Lol I've seen my kitties do that too. but it was because one kitty was already inside the box and the other really had to go. I was just glad the right end was still inside the box.

Ophelia props her front feet on the side of the box in addition to one back foot. So basically, she only has one foot in the box. I like to think that gravity helps things go smoother...

Radar pees with his front feet outside the box, and his back feet on the edge, just his backside hanging in the box (thank the lord!) I am worried that when he gets bigger he will tip the whole thing over.
