Bad mommy! She was grooming herself on the chair in the living room, I was sitting on the couch with DH across the room. I decided to go over and give her some cuddles so I got down on my hands and knees and was crawling over.

About half way there she stopped bathing and looked at me and I just looked back at her. It must have been in some kind of scary way because when I got to the chair in one split second she flew behind it!
I'm talking poof, she was gone! Took down DH's cell phone charger in the process.

My poor baby! I was calling to her and she wouldn't come out. So I looked under the chair and I could see her little nose looking at me. When I got in the chair and looked over she was all poofed up! Poor baby! I'm not sure what I did exactly. She's never done that before!

I think I'm forgiven now though. I got her catnip ball and played with her and she came out. Now she's kneading my lap with her usual furry.

You have to wonder sometimes what they think is happening when they go into those wild fits. They know we're not gonna hurt them, but they freak out nonetheless.

The one time I crawled across the floor towards Radar he did the exact same thing - big kitten puffball he was, then fled, then returned and batted me across face a couple of times. I haven't tried it since.
