Well that is about stupid.... that kid is going to hate his parents when he gets older.

Poor Kid, what is wrong with some parents?

My niece is named Scarlet Ann Gray after the school colors for Ohio State. This was the one time my BIL got to name a baby, and he names it after a school he DIDN'T EVEN GO TO!!!!!!!

That's actually a pretty cool name though

ESPN Montana Real - wow...that's aweful! I hope they call the poor kid Montana....

wow...that's funny! I guess the Ann ...is supposed to be like & huh? That's funny, but different. It is a pretty name though - I like the name Scarlet..

My daughter is named Auburn after Auburn University in Alabama-- yep hubby named her (first name only) and he never attended Auburn but loves the team--

He wanted to name her Dallas (cowboys) but i said nope! It sounds like a adult star name !

So her name is Auburn Mae Marie

I think it has a nice ring to it and very few people here in Texas make the connection-- Back in Mississippi-- lots of people made the connection but it still fits her well and is a nice name we think

Not really bad names, but my stepbrother and his wife have four kids. 1 boy and 3 girls. They are really into C/W music and that culture. Now, for the names...

Tucker (Boy)

Girls:
Dixie Lee
Daisy Mae
Harley Jean

Kinda offbeat but cool in their own way.

Tell me about it! If my boyfriend has his way, our future children will be named Scrotor, Testicles and Trogdor (the Burninator)!

When I was in high school, a girl in my class (who had a perfectly normal name -- Sherry) had sisters named Destiny Starr, Mercedes Lux and Shaza Silver. It was like their mother went nuts after Sherry was born and started giving the rest of her daughters stripper names.

Names don't have to be serious, but when you name your children, you really ought to ask yourself: Is this going to get my kid's kicked every single day in high school? If the answer is yes, pick another name. School is tough enough without being handed a monicker like ESPN, Shaza Silver or Apple.

Thank goodness my parents are sensible...I guess you can't get much more sensible than Emily Jane.

Is Smith her married name? Poor girl!!

My friend is on exchange from Germany, her name is Carolin Engel and she's born on Xmas day!! (engel = angel in German)

I know 2 little boys named Zion! It's such an ugly name IMO.
