Cat pooping and carrier

Hi! My kitty, Cleo recently started some strange behavior when I am putting her in the carrier to take her to the vet. She got diarrehea last week as my mom and I were coaxing her into the carrier. We had to take her again this week, and the first time we tried she pooped in the closet and under my bed. The second time she pooped once she was in the carrier. The few times she's been put in her carrier before this she only peed - I didn't think it could get worse. Does anyone know why she would do this? Is she just freaked out about the carrier? Is there anything I can do for her to alleviate this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cats do this when they are extremely stressed (if its not healh related) I would try 2 things when she needs to be put into her carrier 1) Feliaway in the spray bottle and just spray her carrier at least 20 minutes before she is to go in. 2) Bach's Rescue Remedy, it will also calm her and is used with succes with feral cats.
