i have a question. i couldnt find anything on the net so i thought i would ask, can cats have bananas and appleauce. Brutus goes nuts, and i mean crazy, for both of these things. he also loves brocolli which i am pretty sure that is fine. Just anythoughs would be cool. and he only gets a small amount of both.

thanks!

I couldn't find anything that said either bananas or applesauce were bad for cats. They have a lot of sugar, so I would only give them as an occasional treat. My mom's cat loved dried apricots, so it's funny how some cats really like fruit.

It shouldn't hurt them. Some cats like eating fruit - mine never did (other then the females liked peach ice cream).

As long as it doesn't give them diarahha or tummy upset, a little banana or applesauce is fine. Some of my rexes LOVED lettuce (with or without dressing) and some ate green beans.

Trouble looooves bananas and will steal them from you if you aren't watching. she gets ahold of the peel while you're holding it and pulls it! i give her little slices from time to time. roughly 4 slices in total. she loves it! she also like licking apples but doesn't eat it. not tried applesauce. she will also snack on asparagus, spinach, broccoli, green beans and tomatoes.

On the applesauce thing my newt is around two months old and loves to eat it. I only give him a tablespoon full in the lid of my applesauce
