In need of those TCS vibes...

My mom did daycare for 17 years, until she quit last year, so of course we are really close to all the families she did daycare for the many years, they are all just like family to us.

She got a call the other day from a daycare mom, telling her that her husband was just diagnosed with cancer They have 2 young girls (7 and 4 years old).

Its a non surgical kind of cancer, my mom said it was attached to his appendix. He's starting 4 rounds of Chemo within the next few days, and hopefully they will be able to do surgury down the road.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers. I know they could use it at this difficult time.

I know what's it like to have two small children and a cancer diagnosis would be devastating. That family definitely has my vibes and prayers...

This certainly puts a lot of things into perspective doesn't it! I will remember this family in my prayers, so sorry to hear this.

I am so sorry to hear about this....how awful it must be for that family. I will say a special prayer for them. Tell them to be strong, this is the biggest fight of their lives....
