My Molly had some of her teeth extracted. For the most part, her reaction was relief and an increase in appetite, as the teeth isnquestion were no longer troubling her.

My Whitney had a full-mouth extraction due to severe gingivitis/stomatitis. Afterwards, she was downright frisky, even though she was nearly 18 years old when she had the surgery. She ate well afterwards and acted like a mere kitten!

snowbells baby teeth were removed this morning (vet's choice) , not the fangs, and he's making a move with his hands by his mouth with head bowed. I am suspicious that something is wrong, thats y I asked

In another post Xerr mentioned that it was Snowbell's baby teeth that were pulled during his neuter.
This I have never heard of anyone doing except when adult teeth are already in and the milk teeth are refusing to come out.

I hope the vet didnt mess up with my babies teeth ! He just told exactly that they were babyteeth and as he was still asleep he took them off for the new ones to come out.

Hmmm, a little strange that he did that.... Its a natural process and if the teeth weren't hindering the growth of his adult teeth, I dont see the point...

When my Trixter had a couple teeth removed, the first thing he did when he stepped out of the carrier was start rubbing his mouth frantically with a front paw. He was just noticing that something was feeling weird in his mouth. It didn't last long. I comforted him and after that he was fine.

How old is Snowbelle? In the pic he still looks pretty young. Did your vet do xrays that showed the new teeth were coming in while the baby teeth were still there? Did he tell you he was going to do that before the surgery?

I actually had this done to me when I was in second grade. My top front baby teeth weren't coming out and the xrays said my new teeth were coming in whether or not the old teeth had fallen out yet. So four teeth had to be pulled.

Unless the vet had a good, documented reason for pulling those teeth I'd throw a fit.

He's 7 months old now (but petite) no the vet didn't ask me for permission to do what he did. and I don't beleive he did xrays. He rubbed his mouth with his paw all night long too, was really freaking me ut, i thought he had a fit in a specific moment. This morning he looks ok, better than yesterday, but I don't know how he will eat dry food for now (he still takes medicated food)

Ummmm YEAH! So would I!!! The fact that he didn't even TELL you he was going to do it tells me he was poking around at the WRONG end of the cat since he was there for a neuter! Why was he looking around in his mouth in the first place??? If you had requested a dental cleaning be done at the same time, I could see this, but unless he had a good reason to even BE in the cat's mouth then he shouldn't have been there.
