How old? Or how much should they weigh?

I'm sure this has probably been answered before, but I had a look around and couldn't find anything.

How old does a kitten need to be before he can be neutured? or does it go by weight?

Just wondering because we're not sure when Patch will need to be done. (don't worry, we do have a vet for him and everything, but thought I'd ask here anyway)

8 weeks or 2lbs here in North America, I think in the UK they wait until 6 months old.

im in london and the soonest i could get a vet to do mine was 5 1/2 month's

yea well that's theearliest i have been able to do mine and that was only 2 week's ago
