Does anyone have any helpful suggestions for me. I had to have Hoggie put to sleep yesterday and Bells is looking everywhere for him. They were littermates and have always been together(They are/were 7 years old). I know it will take time, but is there anything I can do to make it better for her. I am giving her all the extra love and attention I have but it makes me so sad to see her looking for her brother when I feed her or when she hears a noise she thinks might be him. Any and all suggestions are appreciated, even if it is just to say it will take time.

Certainly give her more love and attention, but one of our members Mary Anne (hissy) would always tell people in your situation to sit Bells down on your lap if possible, and explain what happend to hoggie

How sad, poor baby. It's good to try explaining things==talking to the cat might work--I believe they understand what you say. She needs a lot more loving and hugging too. It sounds like you are doing the right thing.
