My grandmother passed away

My wonderful grandmother just passed away.

This was one person who never disappointed me, never let me down, she was a constant source of strength, and love, and calm when I was growing up...despite turbulence in my life and in hers. We just loved each other, very, very much.

I will miss the twinkle she'd get in her eyes, her little laugh, and spend the rest of my life still trying to make an apple pie as good as hers.

I wish I had not moved so far away, I had not seen her since my father passed away a few years ago, and I will not be able to go back for her funeral.

I'm very sorry for your loss Pat. It sounds like the two of you had a very special bond.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know what you're going through. I lost my grandmother to cancer almost 3 years ago. they sure are special.
