Yesterday I bought a new pooper scooper and litter box.

I cannot get the label glue completely off of them.

I have tried alcohol, fingernail polish remover & soap.

These are items that need to be clear of sticky stuff so that germs do not stick to them and they can be throughly cleaned.

I swore that I would never again buy another product with a label that does not come off easily....
I've been saying that for years and I keep buying them.

There must be a way to get the sticky glue off easily.
How do you remove sticky label glue?

Help please.....

Cooking oil soak, then hot water wash.
After each wash, soak any remaining adhesive with cooking oil until it is all gone.

Nail polish remover with acetone. Acetone will remove just about any sticky substance known to man.

We have this little bottle of stuff called "Goo Gone". It's fantastic for exactly those kinds of sticky situations.

My pal Martha Stewart suggested cooking oil which I have used several times (like on glassware) and it works like a charm!! Just rewash the item after removing the label!!

Yep. We used to keep a bottle of the Goo Gone under the counter when I worked retail the clean up sticky messes and whatnot with. Added bonus - it smells like yummy oranges.
