Broken squeaker

Hi, all. Hope you are all doing well this evening. Oliver, who is about 2 1/2 years old or so (I'm guessing based on his last exam - he was a stray, so I'm not sure). Today when I got up his voice (meow) was not right at all. He seems fine other than that, just a little bit more demanding than usual. No indication of any pain, he's eating fine and playing about the same as usual. One of our other cats went through this about 3 or 4 years ago, and he was fine, but his voice never really went back to normal. Oliver sounds awful though. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? Thanks!

I have no idea..I would probably call the vet just to ask them to be sure.

Good Luck, it sounds harmless but you never know
