We just got a bunch of channels on a free trial for 4 months - Animal Planet, NGTV, Discovery Health, and of course, the Golf channel.
So now I can pretty much find something on all the time, even though I have so few "must see" shows these days.
It's a free trial for Rogers Digital, if any fellow Ontarians want to check that out.

Don't feel bad. I don't have cable either. I can't have cable at my house. I tried to get it Monday but was informed my driveway is too lang to run the cable down and I would have to pay $200 plus for them to run it on top of the $114 installation fee! Umm no thanks!

Looking into Dish Network now...

Really!. I thought you all got a stack of channels to watch over there automatically and it was just us that was so far behind by having 5!.

Theres a dish at the new house i'm buying so i just have to get in touch with Sky to set it up, because the area i'm moving to won't allow the pathways dug up for cable.

I so miss the Biography channel, discovery, living, history, UK gold etc...

I can't watch the washed up stars either and am not a big fan of Veronica Mars so have a rerun of CSI on instead
House plays on Tuesday nights, but is on break until October 31st due to baseball. What you see on Wednesday nights during this time will be repeats.

I enjoyed Dancing With the Stars. Mario Lopez was HOT (passo doble) and Jerry Springer's waltz moved ya to tears (he wanted to get to that dance because his daughter is getting married).

Viveca Fox is a "has-been"?

The next best thing to tivo (or other DVRs) is On Demand programming.
Most of it is free.

Too much on tv tonight. it's complicating things.

First we have Bones at 8... then One Tree Hill AND Lost at 9pm. But I have to watch One Tree Hill at 9 because I have to be on the computer at 10 because I mod on a OTH forum and it's like 300 members online at 10 when the shoes goes off, and it's crazy.. so they need me.. so my mum will have to record Lost at 10 (thank god for the sattelight) and I'll have to watch it tomorrow.
