Positive news so far, Lei!

Continued }}}VIBES{{{ that the remaining results come back just as good!

Dexter's labs are back....

Blood (superchem profile & CBC) plus his Urinalysis were mostly normal.

He did have an elevated CPK/1179 (56-529 normal) but his vet said not to worry.
So what am I doing?
Worrying of course.

His T3 was low but his T4 & Free T4 were normal.

FLV
FIP both negative.

Urine normal except for a slightly elevated PH of 7.5 (5.5-7.0 is normal)
I was told that is actually a good thing.

His diagnosis is now Asthma.
He is feeling better but still somewhat lethargic.
I am watching him closely for any negative changes for lack of improvement.

He has a followup appointment next Thursday.
Next week I intend to grill his vet more about the CPK result.

Oh Lei, I'm just seeing this now. I'm glad Dexter is feeling better and Sadie is at ease having her brother home again. I will keep him in my thoughts and am sending lots of healing, calming vibes to you all.

I am still praying for Dexter. How is he today?

Although Dexter is feeling much better,
my big boy still needs your prayers & healing vibes.

He is still on antibiotics & might need more treatment for his breathing,
but he is doing so much better.
I am hopeful that his asthma will be easily controlled.

Please keep your fingers crossed that there are no other issues that will affect his health.

I can't stop smiling.
