Out of curiosity, does your SO cook? If so, is it yummy??? All of the men in my family cook really well for the most part, as does my boyfriend Colin...when he cooks. What about your SO? Do they cook well?

I voted other. DH cooks, if you count fish sticks, chicken tenders, and frozen pizza. Basically if it's frozen and comes with directions, he will make it. Before we got married he survived on hot pockets and cereal.

lol you two are cracking me up!I think we should enter your SO into a non-frozen food cooking class
Colin is a good cook...when he gets the time to cook. Usually I make dinner though just because of our schedules, but if he's home, he helps

DH is not allowed to cook for anyone in the house besides himself

Last time he cooked, we ended up with hamburger that tasted like pineapple... I still don't know how it happened but we do NOT want to experience the "Hawaiian Hamburger Horror" again

Yup...he's really gotten into cooking the past few years, and I love it when he does. He tries recipes and hits it out of the park the first time, each time. I think he is gifted at it

Yep he cooks, he cleans, he does the washing, and he does it all well! He does the majority of the work at the moment with me studying and working, but I do what I can. I feel so guilty that he does so much!

He's a good cook, and really tries to make sure we have a variety of food and have a different meat as many of the nights of the week as possible

DH is a trooper though! You should have seen my birthday cake a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be a chocolate rum cake with a raspberry glaze. It ended up being about 3-4" high and boy did it ever taste like rum! I was out when he was baking it. I got a few calls along the lines of 'what's a tube pan?' and things. All in all a good attempt. I think he's got melting chocolate chips in the microwave down... I think he ran out because he burnt it the first few times. Gotta love him for trying though! I'm glad he did. Next time I'm sure he'll do better! We think it might partially have been the recipie or something too.
Heck, I know a lot of guys who wouldn't have attempted it at all. I'm glad he will do that kind of stuff for me!

Jeremy cooks and he's a fantastic cook, better than me.
But he works graveyards, which means I do most of the cooking

Hubby learned to cook when his college roommate fixed a "gourmet" meal of ramen noodles and cheese whiz. I'm not that big on dinner so he usually takes care of it and always cooks tasty meals.

Aww! That's sooo sweet that he tried to bake for you!!!Sounds like he was really trying to make your day special! What a sweetie!
Colin cooks, but i've NEVER seen him try to bake anything! That would be interesting! I must set that up sometime and observe lol.

I think my mom and I came thiiiis close to smacking my dad the day he was home alone (mom was working and I was in classes). He picked us up (neither one of us drove at the time) and muttered that he hadn't had a thing to eat all day.

????????? True, he did not cook, but he couldn't make himself a lunchmeat sandwich!?!?!?!?

I ad to pick other because the only thing ive seen my bf cook is frozen pizza!
well he hasnt seen me cook either yet because i havent been in my own apartment yet.

But my ex bf would make these delicious sauces for meats and potatoes, i always tried to learn it but mine would turn out pooey!
Now days i just open prepared packets sauces that i only have to add cream or water to it!

My DH is a professional chef who cooks better than I do. Since I am a pretty good cook that is saying alot. He pretty much brings home dinner every night since he owns his own cooking school and catering business. I do the cleaning. Sometimes I cook just to give him a break. To salve my ego I keep telling him I am a better baker.
