Mica's breeder has had a litter which she though one girl and the rest boys. However one of the boys does not have visible testicles while the rest do. Does that mean the he is a she or could they show up later
.
All my breeding books are saying keep checking everyday, compare them to each other, and you can tell properly when they are seven weeks old.

They will be four weeks on wednesday and are very adorable!

Its possible that his testicles are higher up. Most of my litters were sexed by color (I knew what the mom/dad was and knew enough to tell). But I still knew HOW to really sex them if necessary. If one of the kittens is a tortie/calico, you have a good guide to compare the others with (calicos are 99.9% female).

For instance - if mom was a tortie and dad a black I knew that any red tabbys were males.

I sex my kittens I foster as soon as I get them. The youngest one was 5 days old a male. I havnt been wrong yet. *knocks on wood* Sometimes the testicals take a while to drop. Bagheera didnt drop till he was 12 weeks old. But I knew he was a boy from day one 4 weeks old.

Wow I never knew kitten cant be sexed right away. Boy do I have alot to learn.

GoldenKitty45: I also didnt know that 99.9% of Calicos are females, do you have any further information? I'd love to see it considering im getting a Calico female in 4 days!

I have sexed kittens right away pretty much. It is possible. Could be that this one is a cryptorchid too. I had a little cryptorchid kitten last year.

JulieKit: Yes it is very rare to have a male Calico or Torti. They are almost always females.
