My Mom left today

The last five days have been a total gift! Mom and I had so much fun laying around talking, and drinking coffee. Last night the boys gave her a wonderful send off, by digging through her bag, pulling out her travel itinerary, and shredding it (don't worry we reprinted it). I don't think that they wanted her to leave either.

When I dropped her off at the airport, she said that she was proud of me for becoming an independent woman. All I could do is cry.

Thanks for putting up with this post, I'm kind of emotional.

That is awesome that you got some time to bond with your mom!

That's great! Besides the shredding, how did she and the kits get along?

Bit was bratty, because he had to go to the Vet the first day she was here. Scratch would just purr and purr when ever she would come around. He loved her.

awww, I'm glad the visit went well My mum lives faraway too, I miss her.

Did you double check her luggage and frisk her to make sure she wasn't taking Scratch with her?

Yes, he almost went with her too, but then I took out some kitty treats and he decided that he loved me more!

Aww, i'm soo glad you had a good visit with your mom. It sounds like you two have a wonderful realtionship! That is awesome!

My Mom is getting ready to move to TN right after Christmas, so I'm trying to prepare myself for this........she is my best friend too and I hate that she's leaving, but she's looking forward to it, so I'm doing my best to be happy for her.........so glad you and your mom got some time!!! Do you ever go up to AK to see her??

Same!! But mine is in Australia, and I'm in the US now We still talk at least once a week though!

I'm glad you had a great time with your mum, and she could see how well you and your 3 boys are doing
