My cat had 3 kittens.
The first one at birth was fine but only lived a day.
The second one was born with all his insides hanging out..
and the third was a fighter.
He lasted over a week.
This morning he didn't look good.
I went out and came home and he was gone.
I was so hurt that i cried.
My husband helped me bury him.
My husband and I couldn't agree on a name.
He said Thomas. I said Rascal.

So RIP Thomas Rascal.

I have pictures on the other computer.
Will post them soon.

Steph...I am truly sorry. I understand what it is like to lose kittens and I am sending a big hug. How's momma holding up?? I would contact your local shelter/rescue group and see if they have any orphaned kittens that would benefit from having a nursing mother. That way you can help some orphaned kittens that otherwise would not have a chance.

Otherwise, you could contact your vet to see when he would suggest scheduling her spay appointment.

I am so sorry to hear this, RIP little babies. I do hope mum cat can be spayed soon to stop her (and you) having to go through this heartache again.

Thank you everyone for your responses.
The mother cat is holding up quite fine actually..
I mean it seems as though she doesn't even care.
She was trying to get the dogs tail and such yesterday right after it happened.
SHe is only about 2 years old..
and she is still in kitten mode.
I think she was way too young to be worrying about kittens.

Very cute, im sorry for your loss... RIP..

However, I would get her spayed soon.. it doesn't seem *based on this single pregnancy, and im not Doctor* that shes that fit to give birth based on this pregnancy... I don't mean to be harsh, but maybe spaying her is the best option.

i hope you feel better.
