Is there something wrong with this? Ruby was spayed on August 21st after we had found homes for all of her other kittens. We kept them separated for a week after her spay and her milk appeared to dry up. However, Shannon continues to nurse. She doesn't seem to mind and when she's not in the mood, she lets him know it. Shannon will be neutered on October 16 (we had to wait until he was four months for our vet to do the surgery). Do you think this will stop him from nursing, or is he gonna be the world's biggest mamas boy and nurse until he is 15 years old?

Kiko still "tries" to nurse Easy and hes 3 years old. And hes a mommas boy most certainly. I posted pics in fur pics of him nursing Easy earlier today. She sometimes will let him briefly and sometimes she will let him know that he cannot, but everyday he tries.
Awww...it's a comfort to him and as long as mom doesn't mind..then I wouldn't worry about it.
