really afraid of this phone call

ok so I have to call my friend Liz:

Me and my friend Mary were on the the phone last night and we needed to 3way Liz. So we tried, and my phone was being so annoying. So then we just kept trying, but we didn't think it was going through. So then her mom answers the phone (they have callwaiting) and shes like"Julia can you please stop beeping me, I'm on the phone with my sister". I love Liz's mom. Shes such a nice person. But I guess if we really were calling her nonstop like that, she has a right to get mad. But the thing is, we didnt know it. I resonded with"yeah me and mary are sorry but we didnt realize-" and she hung up, she was in such a hurry. I hope nothing happened to her sister.

I'm just afraid to call this moring, but I know I have to. Because we have palns today, but i dont know what time. And I will apologize to her mom, but i just feel wierd caling. What to do??

Im sure it it was just a one time annoyance to her. I would just call and even ask for Liz's Mom even if Liz answers, so you can just clear the air with her. I wouldnt think its that a big of a deal to Liz's Mom today. But that was kind of cheesy for her just to hang up on you .
