Several year's ago we got 2 cats from the animal shelter, one boy and a girl. Chamille the girl would get (and still does occasionally) a discharge of fluid from her right eye. The vet gave us some stuff to put in her eye but it didnt really help. Now as she is a grown cat if you look in that eye there is one large brown spot a another smaller one, both are more jagged on the edges than round. And as I said she still gets an occasional discharge from that eye. anything to worry about?

I would take the cat in to have it checked.The spots you see don't sound right to me.
