Probably overreacting, but....

Hi all,

I've been having to clean a lot of crud from my kittens eyes lately. Could that be allergies or a cold maybe? I have also noticed her making a sound like she is trying to cough up a hairball, but nothing happens and she doesn't make that sound for very long. She is up to date on all her shots and otherwise very healthy. Her brother is up to date on his shots also, and they are indoor cats. I overreact a lot with my kittens and get worried over the smallest thing. I was just curious if I should be concerned.

Have you seen her eyes watering? If so, is it a clear discharge or a greenish color? If it's clear, it's probably just an allergic reaction to something in the air or dust. If it's greenish or yellowish, then she's most likely got some kind of infection going on and should be seen by a vet.
