The Catman of Parliament Hill

On my recent trip to Ottawa, one of the things I absolutely had to do was visit the Catman of Parliament Hill:

M. Chartrand was there at the time putting out dinner for his cats. Since the above article was written, his population of feral cats has increased to 30, plus he has several raccoons! Only one feral cat was there at the time, although he said they would be along shortly since it was dinner time! There were several raccoons having dinner when I was there! Here are some pics!

It's definitely worth fitting in. If you're wondering how to find them, you go around to the back of the Parliament buildings on the left and he's right back there!

By the way, where are you??? I'm probably going to be up there in December again as well?

There's a place in Key West FL like that, where the writer Ernest Hemingway lived. All the cats are polydactyls... teehee... that's a funny word. Why don't they just say "6 toes?"

I am West of Toronto, in Burlington but I work at Queens Park so have plenty of opportunities to visit the Hill

That's really neat, Neet! If I'm ever down in Key West, I definitely plan to visit. I've heard about the Hemingway cats before and would love to see them! If you're ever in Ottawa, the cats of Parliament Hill are worth a visit. M. Chartrand looks after them himself, depending on donations from the public!
