No potty for a week? Can we move in with you?

Either move in with someone, or have to share TTP&B's litter boxes!!!

Jerry is gutting our bathroom starting tomorrow. He took a week off from work next week. Our house was built in 1953, and I don't think it's ever been redone.....the stuff on the walls is hidious, the floor is coming up, the tub is stained..............so, he's going to rip everything out, even the floor and walls, and redo it.

Luckily, we do have a toilet in the basement that someone put there years ago. I had to laugh. When we bought the house 6 years ago, the toilet was in what was a work shop for a guy!! I've since cleaned it up and actually now the room stores our Christmas decorations. Jerry has rigged up a shower downstairs for us to use as well, so this ought to be interesting.

Wish us luck!! I'm sure Jerry is going to teach my cuss words I've never heard of!!

I remember the fun we had when we ripped out and redid out "master bath". We have 2 half baths and a shower and sink in the basement. I missed having the bathtub but the new one is sooooo much better!!! Are you doing the work yourselves??? Lucky for us our nephew is a plumber!! Have you picked out new fixtures, lights, cabinets???? I used homeportfolio.com as a guide but we also made a few trips to Kohler Wisconsin to check out their showroom (its awesome!!)plus its only about 1 hr away from us. You should go one their site too plus American Standard's site-I think Am Standard's site you can get some sort of bathroom remodeling kit.

I did one simple make over susie!
I painted the ceilings and walls pink! in the bathroom!

I have 2 extra bathrooms (full) That you are more than welcome to borrow!! But you might have to fight the kits for the downstairs bath wich it "theirs"

Well, we lived through the weekend, but just barely..........yeesh! That is alot of work! We were throwing old drywall/walls out the bathroom window!! Ripping up the floor was fun too. I have aches and pains where I didnt' know I had body parts! When I left for work this morning, Jerry was putting up drywall........
