Ok I realized today I canot do my current exercise routine. Which currently consist of 1 hour of Kick boxing in the morning, 1 hour at night and a 1 1/2 run at around 12:30 with a stroller. (For the kid I watch) Anyways this morning when I tried to do my kickboxing I kept kneeing my belly. So thats not ok. It never accord to me that I couldnt just keep on with my exercises. So does anyone know of any exorcises that are ok when your having a baby? My older sister gave me a video for pregnant woman. But it was boring and not hard at all. Ive just got done with an hour and a half of pilates. I feel loose but not like a did a work out. It's going to drive me crazy if I cant find something I enjoy!
The past week Ive only been walking not running any more at lunch. It drives me crazy. I have soooooo much pent up energy. HEEEELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about swimming? You can get a good workout doing a swim session, and it's non-impact.

I've always been told that walking is the best excercise as it strengthens without over-bulking up muscles that will need to stretch later. I've known several women who worked out at the local gym, and had these very long labors, so if you come across any programs for moms-to-be, I'd try to find out how other women who did the course fared during their delivery. My daughter had a 2 hour labor, and very easy delivery last year, and she was doing tons of walking up hills, not by choice, but because she didn't have a car, and had to walk over a mile to the bus stop to go to her job.

Movin' on up!
I walked and swam. The swimming is good, once you get big, as the water gives you bouyancy and takes some of the load off.

Don't forget the Kegels - they help, when you need to pee every 5 minutes, near the end.

I wish I'd done more Kegels. It really sucks wetting yourself a little everytime you sneeze.

Definitely walking versus running. It is really easy to dislocate a hip when you are pregnant. I did it just by running across the room to answer the phone. I was stuck on the floor until my husband got home from work because I never made it to the phone and couldn't stand.

How about water aerobics?
