When I let Melson play with a small stuff toy bear, he seemed to enjoy it at first, but soon he gradually got angry with it. He started to ruff up his fur and hiss at it.

When I was playing with him a ball game, he felt happy at first. But seconds later, he began to hiss at the ball and avoiding it. His fur was standing and he looked really angry.

My cat is a russian blue cat and people say that russian blue cats are temperamental and sensitive. How do I make sure that it doesn't get angry again?

Sounds like he might be getting over stimulated. Ours do this every once in a while. Pete will get all fired up
come flying in the bedroom land in the middle of the bed and hiss, just for the sake of hissing, and when he is playing all his hair stands up to. Its very funny we call it his mohawk.

undine, I am going to put this in the breeder's forum. Perhaps someone with experience with that certain breed will help your further. Good luck!

He may have been pretending to be having a wrestling spat with another cat. Practicing his fighting moves. Young cats do practice their fighting skills. I wouldn't worry at all. How old is he? If he is a kitten, that would be a normal kitty play thing, especially if he is an only kitten. If there is another cat, they will do that same thing to each other in pretend fight, or, sometimes in a real fight. But lots of play fights.
