HELP! My Fiance's cat pees on me!

Can anyone tell me how to get her to stop peeing on me? I'll be asleep and she jumps on me, squats and pees. She purposefully jumps on me lets me pet her and then pees all over me. We are also having a problem with her peeing on the carpets. Anyone know how to get the smell out? she's driving me nuts!

This behavior sounds like she may have a UTI (urinary tract infection). Please take her to the vet for a check up to be sure.

You can clean the spots with an enzymatic cleaner found at any pet store, or Target or Walmart, for that matter in the pet section. This will remove the smell.

It does sound as though she has a urinary tract infection. A visit to the vet for diagnosis and antibiotics would be in order IMO.

I agree that it may be a UTI, but it also may be attitude. Is it just you that she's urinating on - or does she do it to your fiancee too? When my sis-in-law moved in with my brother and brought her cat with her, the cat urinated in every pair of my brother's shoes and everywhere in the house.

she only pees on me. which is weird. She LOVES shawn and never pees on him or anything of his. I'm going to take her to the vet this weekend. hopefully everything will be better.
