Ok, this will be my Dh and I's second holiday season in sunny South FL. Last year I was working for the BCS Football League (Orange Bowl) so I had literally NO time off for Thanksgiving or Christmas or New Years, so I basically ignored the whole thing.
This year, however, I have a normal job and will have the normal time off and want to get in the "mood" for my favorite season (my birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years...I LOVE IT!) But, living where the temps hardly ever get below 75 (it's in the 90s now), I was wondering how other S FLers get in the winter spirit? Will I eventually get used to it? It just doesn't feel like fall (or winter) at all down here and I find myself missing the comforts of home (NC) and yes, even the cold.
Anyone else feel like that? Maybe I am just insane...
