Long Haired Kittens..

Is there anyway we can tell if the babies are going to be long haired? They are only 2 weeks old now. I don't know if they're old enough yet.

from what I have seen, it seems that more kittens are born with longer hair and loose thier fluff when they get older. I have seen a couple go the other way around though. I have no idea though really.

From the picture, I think shorthair. The long hairs are fluffy or spikier in their fur. It might be a short plush type coat tho, but not longhair.

Was mom a short/long hair and how about dad?

Mom is shorthaired... dad is medium haired

The only way the kitten would be long/semi-long hair is if mom is a longhair carrier (recessive gene). So it will be a wait/see on the kitten.

I would say short hair too.But, they are cute either way as you said!!!
