It's boxing day, and our contenders today are the current champ, Ginger Kitty and the newcomer on the kitchen circuit, Mr. Ferris Newkitten. Here they are as they prepare for battle:

Ginger, taking her regular catnip supplement before the fight. She says it helps her to stay on her toes, especially when fighting one so much younger than herself.

And in this corner, little Ferris prepares by tossing around a catnip laced furry mouse. He says he thinks he has the edge over Ginger, because his reflexes are sharper. (What he really means is that his claws haven't been trimmed yet!)

And the fight begins!

It ended in a draw...so they decided to settle down for a bite to eat. Wrassling makes kitties hungry!!!

I'm so glad that they've become friends, or at least wrasslin partners
look at those matching fluffy tails!

That is soo funny.. My girls do that too.. Except they warm up by doing the Kitty Daytona-- Where they race around the house and end up wrassling each other to the floor.. It's all lovey dovies at the end!

Yup, we have madcap kitty racing here as well, but unfortunately, no lovie-dovies as of yet. It hasn't quite been a month yet, though, so I have high hopes!

in a pile of open toed shoes!
That is great!!! That was the 1st sign of acceptance with my 2! And Ginger is letting him eat near her?! That's good too. I had to feed Louie around the corner for the 1st 2 weeks....you'd hear this noise that sounded like devils coming out of the pit of LuckyGirls tummy!
So we fed them away from each other for a little bit. Now, she'll let him eat off the same plate!
