DH just got a new job where he is working days, and now we get to sleep in the same bed together for the first time in over a year. 8-Bit, my bossy kitty, has ALWAYS slept right next to me. Now that DH is there, he can't. All last night he cried and cried; it just sounded so sad. I love my little guy, and I don't want him to sound so upset.

Could you give your kitty, his own special bed next to your bed? I would try that. Make it nice and inviting with soft blankets, toys.

My husband works a seven day swing shift...the kitties have actually gotten use to this and take turns sleeping with me and then again with him when he comes home. When he is on a shift where we are in the bed at the same time, they all just crowd right in and find their spot, which is usually on my back or hip ar his chest or pillow.

He's not that little
! Well he tried to curl around my head last night, and I woke up in a dead sweat! I thought I was getting sick. He's found that there is just enough space between DH's pillow and the wall to sleep. I believe this may be an excuse to buy a bigger bed.
