If you read my other threads, http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99238 & http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99238, then you'll be up-to-date on the situation right now.

Shortly: Tiggy just passed away and my friend with the stray kittens is offering me Piglette, and they are all so cute that I really can't resist, but then my spouse wants a cat from the SPCA, and I'm wondering if it's too soon to get another cat... and then I have another offer on a cat, but that's probably not going to work out... what should I do?

If you think you´re ready to give your love to a new kitty, then that´s fine. It really might help! Hope everything works out for you!

IMHO if one asks the question if it is too soon to get another cat, it usually isn't. Go for it!

first ask yourself if you have the time, money, space, supplies and extra time to proplery introduce the new kitty to the other ones. If the anwer is YES to all of those questions, then go for it!!!!! And save one more life from a potential euthanezia due to overpopulation!!!!

I think you should follow your heart, when the right kitty finds you, you'll know.

Thanks for all the advice...
Should I take a chance on my friend's stray kittens? Because they do need to find homes, too, and they are pretty tame already, but I don't know if we should just go to the shelter (which is a no-kill) and take another cat, where we got Tiggy...?
