A romantic evening...

Tomorrow night will be the first real night my husband and I have had together in over a year. He's been working overnights and I've been working days. A few weeks ago he finally secured a job where he will be working normal hours. In celebration I have planned a nice romantic evening. We are having Lemon Pepper Chicken over pasta. I am also making his favorite cake a German chocolate cake with coconut icing. Now I get the feeling I'm leaving something out, can anyone here think of anything that I should add?

This is driving me crazy; I KNOW I am forgetting something.

Is it food? Like bread or an appetizer?

Candles? or something like that?

How to keep 8-Bit and Scratch Fury Destroyer of Worlds busy so you aren't fighting them for the chicken?

For a romantic dinner I cannot forget a great perfume. Just enought to get my point across. I just dab in strategic places and later see if DH can figure out were I applied it.
