Invisible fence for cats?

Do they make an invisible fence collar/reciever for cats as well as dogs?

I don't want my cat going out into the street when she goes out. I might have to confine her to the inside from now on to keep her safe and healthy.

I don't know if they make it for cats, but a problem with the dog ones is that if the dog does go through the invisible fence he will be very reluctant to return as he will remember getting shocked on the way out.

Personally I don't like letting cats outside without a harness & leash, but you could try a cat fence such as purrfect fence advertised on this site.
