I know, been there done that, but at least it is something while you look for a new job - that's if you can't stay where you are at at least the same rate of pay.

I'm sending you "Find new and better job FAST" vibes!!!

Aw this sucks!! I'm so sorry to hear it! I wouldn't help her either, and (for however long you stay) I wouldn't do anything extra either. I would do what was required of me and leave it at that. I hope you can find a better job, hopefully with better pay!! Sending lots of vibes and hugs your way!

That sucks sweetie, I'm sorry to here that your boss is such a, well, fill in the blanks, this is a "G" rated site. You'll find something better. And I agree with you and everyone else, do not help the bimbo with anything! If she's so good, she won't need the help. Then tell him where he can put the handle of the broom that he wants you to use to sweep the shop with

That's awful Mackenzie! He wants you to work out in the shop.....I'm pretty sure that your degree doesn't have anything to do with that!! I know you'll find the perfect job where they care about you.....

It just keeps getting worse

I had a guy that works at the local graphic design's place in town tell me last week that if I needed a job, to contact him. So, I called him today - they hired someone for that spot I wanted yesterday

Seriously - I don't want anymore bad news!!

Kenzie i'm soo sorry! I know this has been a really rough week for you. Your boss had no right to do that to you at all!!! I had a similar issue happen last month at work and had no choice but to quit- i've been job hunting ever since. I understand what you're going through sweetheart. My prayers are with you! Do you have a resume? I suggest turning one in with each application if it's not required....they make you look more organized and educated. Also, try to keep your chin up...I know this is horrible....but you will turn out even stronger because of it. You're an amazing woman- hang in there....could you maybe go with him when he moves for only a short while until you find something else? Just to make ends meet? Lots of vibes comming your way! You have job hunting company if it's any help! You're in my prayers! Hopefully you'll find something soon. Also, what is your degree in?

I have my degree in Business Management & Administration.

The only thing good about today is that tonight I'm going to light my candles and watch a girly movie with Harley & Davidson

Our shuttle driver that we have here at work just brought me a chocolate shake from DQ.... he thought that might cheer me up.... and it did

Definitely do the candles and the girly movie!!!! That always cheers me up when I have a bad day as well
. Hopefully with your degree you will be able to find something else soon- have you ever considered working at a nice hotel? They LOVE people with business management/administarative degrees

Ugh.
do it until you find a better deal. don't cut off your nose to spite your face, as my mom would say. you can be job-hunting while doing the parts job & that way you can take your time & find just the right one. meanwhile, you can enjoy watching the new 'girl' make a mess of things. [not a Christian sentiment, i know, but we Christians are human, too!]

I'll hoist a couple glasses of wine in sympathy for you!!! I remember at my "old" job I was yanked off the road -no reason and stuck FT in the office. i was royally PO'd so I can imagine what you feel like!!!
You know though what you might what to do is some reverse pyschology and continue working with the "boss" but be as sweet as pie to the customers and all the other employees except those "2". The "boss" might end up realizing his mistake!! What's the saying-"You can catch more flies with honey"??

Also to make you feel better go to: Iworkwithfools.com !!

Your boss has done a terrible thing to you. He is truly an idiot (among other things I can't say here). As much as I would hate it I guess I would stay there while looking for work if it were a matter of having enough money to live on. As luareen227 said you can have the satisfaction of watching the new girl make a mess of things. Maybe the customers will ask why you aren't working there anymore and ask you to come back. That might give the boss a clue.

Here are more {{{{find a wonderful job soon}}}} vibes. With a degree in business and admin there should be good jobs out there. Good luck. Things have to get better.
