2 gorgeous black cats

I am trying to find a home for these two beautiful girls and I was wondering, since October is approaching, when should I stop trying to find them a home for the Halloween season? Right at the start of the month or wait until closer to Halloween?

I personally wouldn't try after the first of the month.And then wait until around Nov. 3rd-ish to try again.

Try to be very careful in your screening, too. References from a vet would be very helpful. I have rescued a black cat and an orange one and they are staying at our in-town house that we are renting; they are inside/outside cats (the orange cat was a semi-feral) and I am really feeling that I need to get them inside, full-time, somehow, at least during the Halloween season.
