Do you think I can get my cats to eat wet food again?

When they first came home with me at 8 weeks old, I fed them some dry, some Nutro pouches, and some Nutro cans. At first they would eat the wet OK (definitely liked the pouches better than the cans) but after a while they wouldn't even touch it anymore, so I've only been feeding Nutro dry for quite a while now (they're about 1.5 years old now). I did get some Fancy Feast when one of them was sick as I had read here that the smell is very enticing and might get them to eat when they won't otherwise, but they didn't want that either.

Do you think I can get them to eat some again, or will I just be wasting my money? Any specific brands you'd recommend that might get them to eat it again?

When Kandie gives me alot of trouble I pull out the Meow mix pouches( they are good quality )

Try fish based foods... Solid Golds tuna is a great one for getting them to eat

Not so weird. A lot of cats don't like fish. Our 2 won't touch anything with fish in it.

Mix the wet stuff in with some dry stuf to give it some texture and to still give your cat something he/she enjoys still. Try various ratios at first like 50/50 or 70w/30d and then slowly go to just dry with a little wet and then stop the dry altogether.

I hope that made sense.

3 of my cats eat wet/dry and 2 eat dry only. My cats refuse premium can food. For several months I have been trying to switch them over. I have been to many stores in my area and bought dozens and dozens of cans. They refused them all !!! They do not like fish, either. They are mostly turkey and sometimes chicken lovers. I bought some Newman's Own Turkey flavor and from all the cans I bought, this is the only one they went right up to and started eating.
