I do freeze the Great Canadian bagels - they freeze really well and then just toast them with mounds of butter!

They are not from Panera, but my local fresh baked bagel place has the best sun dried tomato bagels - they are so yummy with some plain cream cheese so I assume it would taste similar

Know what?
I've never been to Panera. But I hear great things about them all the TIME!!
I think I might stop in there just because I hear about it so much, that I feel that I am missing some awesome food.

I worked there last summer, and I can say, it is one of the best companies I've ever worked for.

At the end of everyday, all those leftover bagels and breads and even desserts go to a local homeless shelter/food pantry (depending on the franchise owner) and they make new ones every single night. So not only are they actually fresh every morning, but the leftovers don't just go in the trash.

Plus the food is addicting. I usually hate going somewhere that I've worked, but I still like going to Panera for lunch!

I don't think we have Panera Bagels in the Los Angeles area, at least I've never seen or heard of them before. I just LOVE Bagels, though.

I usually do the "pick two" which means you get a bowl of soup and either a half sandwich or a half salad. All of the soups are good: my faves are broccoli cheddar, chicken and wild rice, and baked potato. In terms of sandwiches, it depends on what kinds of lunchmeat you like: I'm a turkey person, so I really like the bacon turkey bravo. The smokehouse turkey panini is reeeeeeeeaaallly good too! My hubby likes the asiago roast beef a lot.

I really have never had anything that is bad there, honestly! Whatever you're in the mood for will be good!

Everything there is so good - I agree, get the "pick two" their baked potato soup is soooo good!
So are all their sandwhiches

Now that I'm craving Panera - I'm going to go eat a bagel I still have from there!

Make sure you get some bagels!

Personally I think Panera bagels are awful, BUT that's probably because I used to work at a bagel joint that made THE most amazing bagels ever! We had about 17 or 18 different varieties of bagels (everything, salt, cheddar, onion, garlic, blueberry, french toast, SDT, rye, spinach, egg, pumpernickel, cinnamon raisin, sesame, poppy, multigrain, and bialys), baked throughout the day, and 9 or 10 different cream cheeses made fresh daily (plain, lite plain, veggie, lite veggie, lox, strawberry, maple walnut, scallion, garlic & herb, and usually a special of the week, which was almost always maple syrup CC because everyone loved it on the FT bagels!). I looooved working there!

But I DO love Panera's pick two...I'm a big fan of the smokehouse turkey and baked potato soup

We have a Panera's right up the road from us where we just moved to. I haven't tried there bagels yet but I do have there coffee quite frequently.
My favorite bagels are always sesame seed.
