I thank the writer of the article recently posted regarding lilies being toxic.
I began to wonder what else I got growing outside that the cat could get sick on, and what would be something she could/should eat?
I live in the Pacific Northwest and have plants on the porch, herbs, flowers...and...
I do not trust articles really. I trust things such as my allergist, where I had shots, who I asked questions, and the medical books I read about my allergies, and what we needed to do.
Sigh, but mom still adopted this cat so...I just have to have serious runny nose. :(
I had read many...
I gotta disagree with the swimming thing. Cats are self-cleaning, and if they get a bath, by golly they will lick themselves dry. It is not just dander (skin) but also saliva that cause allergy problems. If they lick themselves or us we have problems. Nothing anybody can do about it. Just is. ...
Yeah I used to have a job at a retailer and one year got a great deal for employees only on a Dyson, I think I paid $199?
It never needs bags, no filter replacement...you just wash it in cold water! It is durable too, made of airplane grade plastic as I recall.
I got one of the first models, now...
Great question.
Mom brought in a cat here and I am allergic to cats. I like them, but I really should not have them indoors...where there is carpet. I am allergic to dander and saliva.
Mom gave me a purifier BEFORE we had cats as I am also allergic to dust and dust mites. I think it helped...
BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!
Well that is what I used to tell my family and anybody who listened when I was about 13. And yeah, those photos look about right!
So when someone told me that they could not tell if the cat they had was a female or a neutered male, I thought...ohhhh nooo.....why not just take...
If you want to know about medications, maybe you can ask your pharmacy? They help humans, but they learn names of medications and may be able to explain the purpose to you.
And yeah it looks like you are right about Revolution's purpose: http://www.1800petmeds.com/Revolution-prod10265.html
Funny. Cats seem to understand punishment around WA state okay. In fact, they will punish their kittens, and even us humans.
If I do something the cat had said no to, she nips me. She will next time nip and swat. She also gives a look.
I know many people who swear by the spray bottle.
So...
Have you looked on your own human food labels? Yep, they often say "natural flavors and colors." What that means? Means the FDA said they could say that and not list what it really is. It means it is NOT chemical artificial flavoring. An example for human food coloring is that if it has a number...
IDK, many friends of mine use spray bottles on cats and dogs and it did work for them.
You know how children all respond to different types of punishment, and how some parents spank, some pull a strand of hair, some give time outs, some take away TV or other privileges, and how the kids of...
Awee...cat balls are the best! Sometimes a black cat is born with white balls! I always thought of em as like Christmas tree ornaments. Such a shame the girls do not have decorations too. :P
Actually we did not fix any of the indoor only cats we had and the males did not cause any problem until one day they did get outside and some stupid tom cat lifted his leg. The two fluffy brothers looked at him, then each other, and I thought....ohhhhh nooooo....
Honestly, some female cats seemed not to want hugged, and males loved it.
I figured as when I was 13 all female cats, Queens, were feminists who did not want held down.
"Independicat."
Males just seem to think "HE LOVES ME! YEAAA!!" And go with the flow.
So I am glad the OP has learned a lot...
