My little kitten, October, just got over being sick. She's now back to her old playful and lovey self, except she has been obnoxiously clingy and needy since she was sick!
She follows me everywhere and won't stop meowing until I pick her up. Is this maybe because she got so much attention when...
Thanks again all!! More good news: October seems to be getting back to normal!! She's been playing more, still not 100% but getting more energy! So glad my little girl is getting better!!!
Yes I agree. However, we do have to go out of town for Christmas for about four days, should we take her with us or see if our friend can watch after her? Our friend works a lot so that worries me that she won't get her antibiotics every 12 hours, but it's also a three hour drive and I'm sure...
Yeah definitely watching her closely! I want her to go to a good home this week but I don't want to send her off if she is going to fall I'll like October did. Probably best to wait a bit too make sure she is perfectly healthy :)
Update on October: she definitely seems to be feeling better though still not 100%. She still doesn't want to get on or off of my bed on her own, but she ate quite a bit and drank on her own!! I've been having to use a syringe to get fluids in her, but she did it on her own this morning!
She...
Ok. Our oldest kitty, Inspector Gadget, has been waiting by the bedroom door because he wants to cuddle with her. He's clearly upset that she's being locked up! :)
Oh wow, glad they all made it through ok!!!
Thank you so much for the advice, I was terrified yesterday when I saw how sick she was! How long should I keep her quarantined after she starts improving?
Yeah it's a friend of ours who took in the boy. They said that he's still acting normally and eating well, but that he's missing a nail so they think that's why he's limping. That's what I'm hoping anyways!! I did tell them to get him checked out just in case and to keep their eyes on him.
Thank you! I've been so worried about her..
Should I be worried about the two older cats and the other kitten? She's been around all of them but they're separated now.
Thank you!! She's the sweetest little kitty, I just love her too death.
The vet mentioned calicivirus but I don't think he specifically tested her for it. She does seem to be feeling better, purring again but still lazy. I think her fever is gone, too.
I'll keep you all updated, thank you so much!
